Attack Spider for Controlling Woodpecker Damage

Given the amount of woodpecker damage on buildings and homes as well as the Federal Requirement to begin with Non-lethal control of woodpeckers, Wildlife Damage Control is pleased to present the Attack Spider for your consideration. This new product by Birdsaway claims to frighten woodpeckers away from the area of the building that the device is installed to protect. The spider repells woodpeckers in a humane way without physically injuring the woodpecer. The spider is 9 inches by 10 inches (front to back and side to side including legs). It requires two AA batteries to operate. It is sound activated. When activated, it lowers itself down the side of your house and crawls back up. So the device uses two methods of scaring woodpeckers, sight of a huge spider and the threat of an object moving down the side of the house at the bird.

The spider is NOT waterproof. Best used where it can be protected from rain.

Tips:

1. When you lift the fur flap covering the battery area on the left side of the spider (from the spider's perspective), use the phillips screwdriver to unscrew. If it doesn't come out, place your thumb on the battery cover and slide it in a downward motion toward the underside of the spider. You have to lower the cover enough to disengage the slide at the top.

2. Place the bottom battery in first, then the top battery.
